Citizenship Test Australia (“the app”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is an independent educational application designed to help users prepare for the Australian citizenship test.

1. Information We Collect
The app does not require users to create an account and does not intentionally collect names, email addresses, passwords, phone numbers, government identification numbers, payment information, contacts, photographs, microphone recordings, or precise location data.
The app may store the following information locally on the user’s device:
• Study progress
• Test results
• Incorrect answers
• Saved questions
• Study plans
• Notification preferences
• Locally scheduled study reminders
This information is used only to provide the app’s study features. It is not sent to our servers and is not accessible to us.
2. Notifications
The app may request permission to send study reminder notifications.
Notifications are scheduled locally on the user’s device. The app does not use notifications to request sensitive information or to send promotional messages without the user’s permission.
Users can disable notifications at any time from the app settings or the device’s notification settings.
3. Question Content and Blogger
The app may retrieve publicly available study questions and educational content from:

The app does not send the user’s name, email address, test answers, or study progress to this website.
When online content is requested, standard technical information such as an IP address may be processed by the hosting provider as part of normal internet communication. This processing is controlled by the policies of the relevant service provider.
4. Advertising and Third-Party Services
The app may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
When advertising services are enabled, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:
• Advertising identifiers
• Device information
• IP address
• Approximate location derived from the IP address
• Ad views, interactions, and performance information
• Diagnostic and fraud-prevention information
This information may be used to provide, measure, personalize, and protect advertising services, subject to applicable law and the user’s consent choices.

On Apple devices, the app will request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework when such permission is required for tracking or access to the advertising identifier.

Information stored locally by the app is used to:

• Show incorrect and saved questions
• Create study plans
• Schedule study reminders
• Improve the user’s study experience
We do not sell, rent, or share locally stored study information with third parties.
6. Data Sharing
We do not intentionally share personal information with third parties.
Third-party services such as Google AdMob may process device and advertising information as described in their own privacy policies. These services may process information on their own systems to provide advertising, measure performance, prevent fraud, and comply with legal requirements.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Because the app does not require an account, we do not maintain a server-side user account or a personal user profile.
Locally stored study data remains on the device until the user:
• Deletes the data through the device settings
• Clears the app’s storage
• Uninstalls the app
After the app is uninstalled or its local storage is cleared, locally stored study data is deleted from the device.
Data processed by third-party services is retained and managed according to the policies of those services.

8. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to limit access to information handled by the app.
The app is designed to keep study progress and preferences on the user’s device. However, no electronic storage or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children’s Privacy
The app is intended for general educational use. It is not knowingly directed to children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
